On behalf of Middle Harbour Yacht Club, it is my pleasure to invite you to participate in the Nautilus Marine Insurance Sydney Short Ocean Racing Championship (SSORC).
MHYC’s rich history in Offshore Sailing will have another chapter written as the 47th edition of SSORC marks the beginning of the regatta season in Sydney. Widely regarded as a tune-up for the serious yachts and crews campaigning for the annual offshore racing season, the SSORC is also another opportunity for regatta regulars to take on the blue water in the brilliant Sydney sunshine.
For this year’s edition, Saturday will be a competitive Ocean Passage Race. At same time, the fun and challenging Seven Islands Race will be held for inshore yachts. Two windward-leeward races will be conducted for the offshore fleet on the Sunday.
